Getting to AMHP
The museum is situated next to Kheri Gate in the north corner of Amber town just beyond the famous Panna Meena step well and Bihariji temple – a 10 minute walk from Amber’s bustling market place.
To ensure you reach the museum and not one of the several shops along the way, we recommend you follow the map link or call the museum for our staff to direct you.
Access and Parking
Due to the historic nature of the building, AMHP is largely inaccessible to wheelchairs. We offer our apologies and appreciate your understanding. Admission to the ground floor is free of charge for physically challenged visitors unable to climb the stairs to the first & second floors.
Limited parking is available in front of the museum and also behind Kheri Gate. See map for exact location.
